well, it's been a wild week here in the mangerson household. abby's SECOND big bonk (why is it always her FACE?), mommy's first freak-out 911 call, abby's first time in the ER, her first surgery, and first stitches. hopefully the last for all of the above. through it all, she was a trooper. ok, some funny moments: how much she absolutely LOVED the ride in the ambulance; how after we told her we'd be staying in a "hotel" for the night she asked if they would have cookies "like the other hotels do" (the ritz we once stayed in, geez!); how she said that the empire state building can't say hi "because he doesn't have arms" (we had a great view of it from her hospital room); how she got a funny smirk on her face when she was sucking up NO; and how happy we are to just have her at home. stitches out thursday. let's hope it she heals well! xx
