we had a rough friday... a spur of the moment trip to the playground resulted in a day at the doctor and dentist's office. abby fell into the bottom of the (metal) slide, and bonked all four of her top teeth. one is ok, one is chipped and loose, and two are impacted. her dentist seemed optimistic that her permanent teeth are ok, that the impacted teeth will find there way back into place, and the loose tooth will hopefully reset. cross your fingers. we'll see the dentist again later this week and will know more. for now, she has a very swollen upper lip, and a pretty sore mouth. despite all this, she has been her happy, goofy self all weekend. what a trooper!
